Hillcrest
employs two full-time Activities coordinators
to address the emotional, social, spiritual and recreational needs
of our residents. These trained professionals also coordinate volunteers who work
throughout the year
to enrich the lives of our residents
and
their families. |

Hillcrest
provides comprehensive short-term rehabilitation on-site delivered by an experienced team of
Physical,
Occupational and Speech therapists. Our goal for all our rehabilitation patients is clear - to restore each one to optimum levels of form, function, and quality of life - and return them to their homes or alternate levels of care as quickly and safely as possible.
These services promote the restoration and the ability to maintain capabilities, and are fully staffed by Hillcrest employees. The goal of employing these therapists rather than utilizing a contract rehab service is to promote continuity throughout rehabilitation - you and your therapist are a team, building on the success gained from one session to the next.

Hillcrest has two full-time social workers on staff to
assist our residents and their families
with a variety of issues. This includes adjusting to
a new environment, grief counseling, coping with
psychosocial issues, help with transitioning one level of care to the next, and discharge planning.
